Dr. Edward Burke was a founding member of Michigan Surgery Specialists, retiring in 2020 after over 40 years with the practice.

Edward F. Burke, D.O., FAOAO, is board certified by the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and is an accomplished orthopedic hand surgeon who specializes in complex hand and wrist injuries. He received his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, Iowa. Dr. Burke is fellowship trained in Hand Surgery from the University of Louisville, Department of Surgery of Kleinert Kutz Hand Care Center, in Kentucky.

Dr. Burke joined Michigan Surgery Specialists, P.C. in 1978. His mission is to provide the highest quality orthopedic care to all patients, offering both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.

With over 35 years of orthopedic experience and innovative surgical expertise, Dr. Burke has gained an outstanding reputation amongst his peers and patients throughout Southeast Michigan for his dedication to patient care within the orthopedic community.
